Battery Paint Gun Painting Tips
After you have decided to paint your house with a battery-powered paint gun, we will give you useful tips for better results. Follow our advice step by step and you will remember us!
Choice of colors
Surface cleaning
For a uniform and smooth painting result, before starting painting, clean the surfaces. Sand with sandpaper or wash with soap and water the surfaces that need cleaning. This way you will avoid shadows under the paint still “pimples” from accumulated dust on the gross surface.
Covering surfaces
Filling container
After you’ve thinned the paint with thinner, it’s time to fill the tank that the paint gun has. Recommended filling limit is usually 2/3 of the container. So, fill the container and you are ready to paint. Attention! Place it in the recess carefully so that it does not fall on you during painting.
Practice painting
If it’s your first time painting with a cordless paint gun, don’t worry. It’s very simple! Just before you start the process, practice until your hand gets used to the weight and how you feel comfortable moving it. It is better to do the movement with the hand and not with the wrist, for a uniform spraying effect. Of course keep a distance of about 200-250mm.
Time to paint
Now you can start painting. You can spray with the paint gun either horizontally or from top to bottom for an even result. Finally, make sure you don’t stay in one place for too long. This will cause the paint to tear and spoil the effect.
Gun cleaning
As soon as you finish painting you must immediately take care of cleaning it. For the paint gun to be effective in any painting job, the nozzle and can must be clean. Wash it thoroughly and avoid leaving it with solvents that can damage the tool.
